Davie Psychiatry: Psychiatric Care for Davie, FL

Same-day visits are often possible

See us in our Fort Lauderdale office or by video anywhere in Florida, including Davie. Ages 6 and up. We take Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and most major insurance plans. Se habla español.

Mental Health Care for Davie Residents

We see patients in Davie from age 6 through adulthood. We don’t have an office in Davie, so you can see us by video or at our Fort Lauderdale office. Davie is about 15 miles from our office, roughly 28 minutes without traffic, so patients here often mix office visits with video visits.

You can reach us at (754) 270-6322, Monday through Saturday from 9 to 5, or request a visit online. Ask about same-day openings.

Services

The first visit is usually a full evaluation. After that, care can include Psychiatric evaluations, Medication management, Therapy, ADHD assessments, Telehealth visits, Same-day appointments. We also see patients throughout Broward County by video.

Conditions we see most: depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, insomnia, OCD, substance use disorders.

What Davie Patients Usually Ask About

Depression

We start with an evaluation and build a plan from there. That might mean medication, therapy or both, with regular check-ins to adjust as you go.

High-functioning anxiety

Plenty of people keep up with work or school while dealing with constant worry, bad sleep or tension. You don’t need to wait for things to fall apart. An evaluation will show whether treatment would help.

ADHD

We assess and treat ADHD in kids 6 and up, teens, college students and adults.

Your Options

  • By video: telehealth works on a phone or computer, with nothing to download. You just need to be somewhere in Florida.
  • In person: our office is at 3015 N Ocean Blvd, Suite C101, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308.
  • At home: in-home visits are a private-pay option. Call to find out if Davie is in range.

Directions

Take Griffin Road east to I-95, go north to Oakland Park Boulevard, then east toward the beach.

Your First Telehealth Visit, Step by Step

  1. Call (754) 270-6322 or send the form below.
  2. We check your benefits before the first visit, so there are no surprises.
  3. Meet your provider by secure video. Nothing to download; it runs in your browser.
  4. Leave with a plan: medication, therapy, or both, and a date for your next visit.

You need to be in Florida during each video visit. Our providers are licensed in Florida.

Care That Starts in Person

Our office is about 15 miles from Davie, close enough that many patients come in. Most care works well by video, but two things begin with an office visit at 3015 N Ocean Blvd, Suite C101, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308: a first prescription for a stimulant ADHD medication, and long-acting injections. Non-stimulant ADHD options can usually start by video. Your provider will tell you if an office visit applies to you.

Insurance for Davie Patients

We accept Medicare, Florida Medicaid (including Sunshine Health and Carelon), Tricare, Aetna, Florida Blue, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum and Humana. Coverage depends on your plan, so staff check your benefits before the first visit. Without insurance, ask about sliding-scale self-pay rates. See insurance details.

Patients across Broward County see us the same way, and visits are available in English, Spanish, Russian, Urdu, Hindi and Hebrew.

Booking Your First Visit

Bring your ID, your insurance card and a list of the medications you take. We’ll verify coverage ahead of time and send intake forms to fill out before the visit. Most plans are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid, and self-pay patients can ask about sliding-scale rates (insurance).

Care is led by Dr. Murtaza Ali and Dr. Andrew Rucker. Visits are available in English, Spanish, Russian, Urdu, Hindi and Hebrew. Meet our providers.

After an evaluation, ADHD can be treated by video. A first stimulant prescription needs one visit at our Fort Lauderdale office; non-stimulant options can usually start by video.
